Within a Day: Thingamajigs Performance Group with Alex Boyd

Alex Boyd, teacher of Daojiao Lishi Quanfa, the Daoist alchemic practice from northern China focused on the cultivation, storing, harnessing, directing and utilization of energy, is directing Thingamajigs Performance Group in the creation of a new work within one day.

I’m bringing everything electro-acoustic, small and large, sweet and savory… and thinking I might not get to it after dropping into Alex’s practice of this ancient, whole body breathing technique.

We’ll start the work with the sunrise, then open the studio to the public after sunset for a performance and discussion. Space is so limited, you’ll need to email me directly to reserve a spot.
