Joining Rent Romus’ Life’s Blood Ensemble to perform his new work based on the Finnish 19th-century work of epic poetry and celebrate its CD release. On percussion with Timothy Orr and Mark Pino, Bill Noertker ( bass), Heikki Koskinen (tenor recorder, e-trumpet, flutes, kantele), Mika Pontecorvo (flute), Joshua Marshall (tenor saxophone), Shanna Sordahl (cello) and Bob Marsh, Ron Heglin (voice).
