solo electronics :: collective projection

Bringing the concert bass drum cinema, Jurassic electronics and collective hand held projection (thanks to creative collaborators Andy Cowitt, Rae Diamond and paige starling sorvillo) to Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, part of their Bay Area Now 9 exhibition, recognizing the curatorial power of Shapeshifters Cinema.

Shapeshifters will be looping all day, with live performative projection in the middle of the day, including

• Zack Parinella + Zekarias Musele Thompson
• Greta Snider + Headboggle

We’ll be interpolating the work of Tim Perkis, who instigated sound-image collaborations with me focused on the enigmatic power of Lesley Gore, and the reductive power of Paul Ekman.
