Bringing a public practice into the performative at West Oakland Sound Series, balsamic is the collective of sound and movement improvisors who developed their vocabulary in (mostly) outdoor public spaces since 2020. Were you in a park in that era? Did you think you maybe heard or saw something? That might have been us.

The performance edition features Kevin Corcoran (percussion), Rae Diamond (found object, voice), Shoshana Green (movement), Megan Nicely (movement), me (percussion), Edward Schocker (hichiriki, shō, ocarina), and paige starling sorvillo (movement).
