DESCRIPTION:In the house band with Edward Schocker (reeds) and Dylan Bolles (flute/voice) with visiting Pacific Rim artists Phil Dadson (New Zealand) and Soo-yeon Lyuh (Korea). We’ll be exchanging ideas and creating music on a single concert stage. \nPacific Exchange is an interesting program from Thingamajigs\, inspired by the words of Lou Harrison who claimed there is a Pacific Sound that connects West Coast America with other cultures and countries along the Pacific Ocean. These concerts are intended to investigate this.
