New York, NYThingamajigs Performance Group and thingNY are convening in a week-long workshop residency to develop a new work that explores durational forms, East-West/Made-Found instrumentation, and performance-as-installation. We intended to use the work and writings of Yvonne Rainer as our touchstone, but have yet to do so. Instead, we’re dwelling, inventing, dwelling some more, and more, then showing from 6-9pm on Friday, August 29th. Come by.
