A rare sighting of the ethereal headbang Vegan Butcher, the band that plays songs 1) only composed in January, and 2) only containing nine notes. I should mention it is also 3) very quiet and 4) very loud. Five new songs, baby.
I’m in the rhythm section with Wil Hendricks (bass) underpinning John Shiurba‘s liminal anthems (and electric guitar), that are eventually, in good time, wait for it, redeemed by metatron Angela Coon singing five sentences from John’s pre-dawn somniloquies.
We’ll be opening for the power trio of Fred Frith, Scott Amendola, and Phillip Greenlief.
