$15A work in progress showing of Edward Schocker’s new work premiering in April at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts’ New Frequencies Fest. I’m in the ensemble on percussion, and we’ve been developing a vocabulary drawn from our common and uncommon Pacific rim backgrounds and informed by the scattered melodies of Korean Sanjo, Sinawi and shamanism.
