The Crossing Pt. 1 (Premiere)

World premiere showing of Edward Schocker’s new work at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts’ New Frequencies Fest. I’m in the ensemble on percussion, performing with a vocabulary drawn from our common and uncommon Pacific rim backgrounds and informed by the scattered melodies of Korean Sanjo, Sinawi and shamanism.
