Christine Bonansea returns to convene dancers and musicians in an improvisation, the tenth since 2013. I remember watching this unfold at the (old) Berkeley Art Museum and feeling its dead serious recklessness, its sharp use of space and silence, and the intensity of performance conversation between the movement and sound artists. Dancers make me a better musician.
I’ll be performing with Christine, Rosemary Hannon and Marina Fukushima (movement) and Tom Djll, Jacob Felix Heule and Tim Perkis (music). Expect exquisite sets from Isak Immanuel and the duet of Kevin Corcoran and Jorge Bachman.
